BlueSky is a boutique and personal real estate firm which began operating in August 2007. Their focus is to improve the quality of real estate service in Christchurch.

Daniel De Bont (PRINCIPAL) AREINZ

BlueSky operates as a personal firm, from the boss down! Daniel is the Principal of BlueSky, but is still hands on as a full time agent. (Yes, at BlueSky you really do get to deal direct with the boss!) Daniel holds a BCom in Valuation & Property Management, and has spent over seven years in the Christchurch Real Estate industry. He travelled to the UK in 2001, where he remained for almost four years, and returned to Christchurch to resume his property career with the sole intention of creating his own agency.

During 2004 to 2007 Daniel had sold over $30million dollars of residential property. At the age of 31 he gained AREINZ & Licensee status, one of the top qualifications in the industry.

Wayne McKenzie MREINZ

With 12 years in Real Estate, and a prior 17 years in the Banking industry, Wayne has seen markets rise and fall and agents come and go! One thing Wayne has learnt, is that to survive in this industry, you have to follow one simple philosophy – ”Look after your vendor”.

Wayne has done this throughout the years and with great success. Communications and negotiations are his job! Wayne and wife Lynn work as a great team, whether it is business or family. Wayne is welcomed by BlueSky for his “down to earth” and “straight up” approach to residential sales.

Neela Patel

Neela has lived in the Halswell Catchment area for over 40 years and has been working in real estate for more than 17 of those years. She has a friendly, polite manner and always looks out for her customers’ best interest. With a background in tourism she has always followed the principle that the customer should get value for money.
Neela has been a serial renovator in her spare time and these days is passionate about landscape gardening and helping her friends out with their interior design. Please call Neela to discuss any of your property requirements.

Jill O’Neill MREINZ

While Jill is relatively new to Real Estate she has always had a very passionate interest in property.  Jill joined Bluesky Real Estate towards the beginning of 2009 having purchased her own property through the firm the previous year.

It was Daniel’s friendly, personal and no-pressure attitude that Jill liked about Bluesky Real Estate and hence her interest in becoming a Real Estate Salesperson was set in motion.

Jill enjoys her new career immensely and achieves a huge satisfaction from assisting both vendors and purchasers in buying and selling properties.  She looks forward to meeting and assisting future vendors and purchasers and being able to achieve the results they desire whether it be selling a property on behalf of a vendor or helping to negotiate a satisfactory purchase for a buyer.
