Flexibility
Traditional agencies have one commission rate for all properties. At BlueSky, we feel every property and every vendor is unique. We will meet, appraise your home & discuss what you wish to achieve. Only after we understand your needs, do we then discuss a commission and marketing structure to achieve the best results for you! Yes our commission varies from property to property, vendor to vendor… and will always be highly competitive.
Empowerment
Our agents do not have a chain of command. Each salesperson has the ability to make decisions on the spot. Whether it is deciding on a commission rate or negotiating a deal, our agents can make those decisions with you in mind. There is no fixed company policy, no “Sorry, we can’t do that” attitude. It’s about getting a result, getting the deal done. It’s about making you happy!
Honesty
All vendors wish to employ an agent who will work in their best interest. After many years in the industry and listening to the many valid complaints of agency practices, we’ve thought long and hard on how we could promote a system that guarantees honest pricing and feedback for our vendors. PRICING and FEEDBACK are simply the two most critical issues in selling any home.
PRICING
Independent Registered Valuation. We promote and encourage that each vendor have an independent registered valuation of their home. In fact depending on the package you choose, we will even pay for a report on your behalf. What this means is that you will have your own opinion of price, BlueSky’s own comprehensive appraisal and an independent
professional’s written report. Once the facts are compiled, we then discuss and confirm a price at which you are happy to market your home! (No under or over pricing, no vested interest, we promote the facts – then promote your home!)
QUESTIONNAIRE
One of the simplest, most effective and yet most under-utilized tools in real estate sales. Public feedback is critical during the sales process. Thus it is critical that we can provide you with upfront reports detailing the thoughts of the people viewing your home. Simply, every person viewing your home is invited to fill out a straight forward questionnaire on your home. These reports are then left with you for your own perusal. All the positives and negatives can then be discussed. It is from this feedback that both the vendor and agent can make the best informed decision for the continued marketing of the property. You will not receive some real estate spin, or spiel – you get the facts, good or bad, in black and white!
Exposure
BlueSky may choose to be small… but our exposure is in line with most major Real Estate firms.
Marketing is the art of attracting as many people to your home as possible. The more people interested, the greater the chance of a higher price and quicker sale. BlueSky has access to almost all major forms of Real Estate marketing. Our properties can be marketed in all of these various forums: Realtor, RealEstate.co.nz, TradeMe, The Press, Star, Open2View, signage, flyers, open homes, aerial photos, virtual tours. Basically, if you want it, we can pretty much do it!
Most importantly, we also “work in” with all other Real Estate firms. This means that if a buyer is loyal to an agent from any other company we welcome their business. It is about getting a result for you, not trying to protect our own interests.
I feel assured, that with our marketing, a genuine buyer will be able to easily find and access your home. That is really what marketing is about!

We could go on forever, but in reality we would love to meet you and discuss more of what we offer in person, but please feel assured… our agents will never put you under pressure; you make all decisions in your time. You will never be told to sign now, you only sign when you are ready.
